Tis' the middle of the night...

It's late.  I woke up randomly. I feel sick.  Why can't I fall back asleep?  *sigh.  

Today is going to be a doozy.  I'm stuffy nosed and irritable, I have to drive more than usual on Tuesdays, and I have a History test today.  I'm considering sleeping through my first class(if I can) and then skipping my second because that teacher is ridiculous and I study on my own anyway so that I can study more for the history test.  I want to keep my A and I haven't really looked over the material too much.  So close to be done this semester! I can't wait.  

In other news, this phone I had sent to me is pretty awesome.  I'm actually considering keeping it but not sure yet.  Oh and if you are unaware, I buy phones on Ebay and resell them for more.  It's a bit sneaky...a bit crafty...yes, yes. 

I spent the whole day with the  kids yesterday. Fun fun.  They are amazing.  We did watercolor paintings.  I finally got around to starting my sketchbook for the Brooklyn Museum in New York.  Need to finish that by January.  Jeez, everything is a deadline! Even things I'm doing just for fun.

I need to get a job! Gas money for next semester is going to be a major deal because I'm driving all the way to main campus 3 times a week.  Gah!  Speaking of driving, I hit something on the way home from school and it was loud.  I thought maybe I had popped a tire which have really been bad since i was going maybe 80 mph.  It hit the front wheel and then the middle and finally skid out after rolling under the back.  It was rather slow considering how fast I was going.  Freaked me out a bit.  In a weird way...I want to crash....but I don't want to die or become disabled.  I think about this every time I drive Cosmic Don....hmmm.

Sick...

UGGG I'm all sick....but I'm going to post this song because I love it.  It makes me want to dance around or sing it really loudly in the car (which I've done...shhh don't tell anybody).

So yea. Dance and sing to that lovely piece of work.  The video is interesting.  Mel Gibson, you are a silly man...that sometimes gets very angry....

Sold...

Finally sold the phone I put up on Ebay! Starting price was $60 and it sold for $87.  YAY. I need the money.  Hat making season! Just finished one. Made a scarf yesterday too. First multi-colored yarn made with a rectangular loom.

I like the way it came out.  It's softy and warm. yay. Made it for my little brother so he is set for the cold days approaching.  I probably should sort my priorities.  I have a test Tuesday and a page article due tomorrow.  Luckily there are 3 more weeks of this semester and I'm done. 

Too soon...

Thanksgiving was nice :)  Saw the fam and we enjoyed our time together.  The next day we celebrated my uncle's bday so we ended up having two fam dinners.  My dad and aunt did not attend the second day but still was nice.  I figured out today that I have six days to complete one of my portfolios.  It's too soon.  I thought of an idea for a five minute movie (which is the limit) but it's going to be tough to do.  Too tough. I'm in over my head I think.  It's really disheartening.

Daze...

TIRED.  I had two hours of sleep last night.  I am the ultimate procrastinator.  Wrote a 1,600 word paper last night that was due at 8:00 A.M. this morning. FUN.  Actually, after the whole initial regret phase and intro it really was a fun paper to write.  Had to write about theories in the developmental stage of Late Adulthood and compare them to my interviewee. YES. I know. It's what we all enjoy writing about.  Anyhoo.  I kinda had some sort of breakdown on Monday night so I headed to my friend's house and played with his nephews who seem smitten with me and then he helped me start my paper at Barnes and Nobles.  He even bought me caffeinated beverages and a sandwich. He's a downright cool kid. I just remembered something insanely dangerously risky that I did that same night. Bwahaha. It was amazing but a secret.  I finished it about 25 minutes before class but then I had printer trouble so I ended up being ten minutes late.  Still got the paper done though. YES. Hopefully I get an A. 20% of the dang grade.  ALSO! I had a history test today but amazingly it was postponed. God might just love me. THIS WEEK anyway. haha. Fickle are the Gods.  Can't wait for Thanksgiving.  I absolutely love my family and can't wait to be with them eating together.  I skid my elbow today.  It made me feel like a little kid again.  I want to start running again but I'm worried I'm not going to have time.  I'm usually way too busy to do anything right now so I don't know how I'm going to start.  I REALLY REALLY WANT TO THOUGH. I miss it.  Gotta get back into shape!  Maybe at the start of this new semester I'll have more time because most of my classes are at night.  We will have to see.  Still have not finished stuff for college.  I've been so busy with my family and school work it's like I don't have time to plan for my departure.  I hope I don't miss out.

Sushi and Time Machines...

OH LAWDY! Last night my friend took me out on a date. hehe.  First we went to Wallace Mart and bought a few $5 dollar movies.  We went through the bin for quite awhile.  Mario Brothers and Congo! haha.

Then he drove me to a Tai restaurant (this pic looks like it's from a John Woo film) and we had green tea that was actually green, an appetizer and both ordered sushi meals. 

He got the lobster roll and I ordered the eel roll. Both DEL-icious. 

Oh my lord.  I love sushi. NOM NOM NOM.  Oh! and he brought chopsticks for both of us to use that were LIGHT SABERS. Crazy.  I had green and he had purple.  He ordered a yummy soup too pictured here.

 Oh and there was a little carrot butterfly!

 Okay...so after that fantasticness, we drove out to the beach.  On the way, there is this arch way of trees you have to pass through.  It was dark but he opened the sunroof and I could see space and stars in the back round of black branches.  It was beautiful.  When we got to the beach we moved most of our items to the two front seats and then sat in the back (He has a nifty little screen in the front of his car.)  and enjoyed "The Time Machine" which was one of the movies he had bought earlier.  I couldn't believe how well I remembered that movie.  Where have you gone Guy  Pierce?! Oh! and anytime we had to open the doors of his car, we'd get a blast of ocean air and the sound of waves.  It was awesome.

To put it simply...it was a really wonderful night. :)
